A Master’s Degree or higher in Public Health, Social Sciences or related field or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience;
Minimum of 12 years of progressively increasing responsibility in managing large comprehensive and complex international development assistance HIV/AIDS and health programs in subSaharan Africa in collaboration with the host government.
High level of interpersonal, technical, and analytical skills including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with a broad range of public and private sector counterparts and other key stakeholders;
Excellent organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills in English;
Excellent skills and experience in collaborative working relationships with senior-level government leadership;
Previous experience working on U.S. government programs will be considered an asset;
Previous experience working with PEPFAR programs will be considered an asset.
Ability to integrate teams of professionals around common goals as well as demonstrated ability in working with host-country ministries and with donor colleagues in country
Demonstrated understanding, experience and competency in working with HIV programs among KP communities
